Faux Painted Kitchen
Created to bring back memories of an old european home, this kitchen has faux painted cabinets, handmade tiles and soapstone counters. The tiles were hand painted with country scenes and farm animals to add a homey touch to the space.		Hand hewn timbers on the ceiling and honed marble tile floors create a feeling that you have just stepped out of this world into the past. The latest professional type kitchen appliances are disguised and hidden behind cabinet faces.

This archway leads from the foyer into the kitchen. The faux painting color of the foyer contrasts with the kitchen cabinets.

A large brick fireplace with wood storage becomes a centerpiece near the eating area.

The kitchen is surrounded by open walls and hallways; it is visually connected to the outdoors.

The large bay window bring in natural light and make the kitchen a pleasant place to accomplish everyday tasks.
